Job Description

In this position, you will collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to transform complex problems into intuitive and user-friendly solutions. Your deep understanding of user behavior, design principles, and emerging technologies will drive the creation of seamless and delightful product experiences.

Through a combination of creativity and analytical thinking, you will shape the future of digital products and drive meaningful impact for our clients and their customers.

This role requires travel, depending on business needs, and internal meetings, potentially up to 20%.

What you will do

The Product Experience Design Consultant will:

  • Collaborate with the stakeholders to understand the user and business requirements.
  • Leverage user and market research insights to develop scenarios, use cases, and high-level requirements.
  • Develop concepts, user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes.
  • Conduct user validation studies and iterate designs based on user feedback.
  • Work with strategists, design leads, product managers, and other teammates to plan projects for effective delivery.
  • Effectively communicate experience frameworks, conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale both verbally and visually.
  • Work closely with development teams to understand their capabilities clearly and ensure design specifications are implemented correctly.
  • Execute as an individual contributor while also leading that team and working with other designers to lead another team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 4+ years of experience in product design or UX.
  • At least 2+ years of experience in client-facing and consulting roles.
  • Experience designing for complex B2B enterprise/business software across multiple platforms.
  • Familiarity with best practices, constraints, and limitations as they apply to design for platforms such as desktop and mobile (Android and iOS).
  • A strong portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience solving complex challenges.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with Designers, Researchers, Engineers, Content Strategists, and Product Managers throughout the design process.
